The the adapter is for multiple nissan applications, which use the "Nissan Diversity Antenna" which is essentially, two separate antennas. Our cars use a single, amplified antenna instead, so you'll have the unused plug on the adapter.

That's what the thanks button at the bottom of the posts is for. I love watching the list grow
Thanks so much for all the info!!
I have an '03 G35. OEM stereo crapped out. Time to replace.
My installer said he did the exact same install on another G35 recently (Bose) and used a 70-7550 wire harness with this Output Converter:

He said it worked great.
Is this an alternative solution to the PAC ROEM-NIS2? This wasn't in his parts list.
I'm obviously a noob here, so bear with me. Is one solution better than the other? Are they completely unrelated?
Thanks again.

Couple days after i install the new stereo my airbag warning light start blinking. I cleared the code and the code came back so I took it to the dealer to read the code, the dealer found code B1129 Side Module RH. Anyway I disconnected a wire that will cause this code?

You shouldn't come close to anything with the airbag wires in your install, but if you were aggressive in the work around the glovebox, I suppose something may have been bumped.
There is a recall about the right-hand airbag sensor though, not sure if your year is covered.

So I recently purchased a pioneer avid d3. I've been looking around through this but am struggling to find the information for exactly it, what all do I need to hook it up to my car? What harness? It's on the stock system. I know I need the double din kit. It's an 04 coupe

Yes but there was confusion on the harness later so I did not know if that had changed. And I didn't know if I needed the am/fm adapter. And if I need a trim kit of felt or something so it fits well in the dash

Just like post #1.
PAC ROEM if you've got bose and are keeping the amp, 70-7550 if not.
Pioneer generally need more trim to fill the gaps, so get the scosche universal trim kit from post #1.

Some models can be tricked with creative wiring, otherwise, yeah, relay's the way to go.
when connecting the steering wheel control interface.... do you cut the wires behind the connector or is there some other way to install? Thanks for the help... this is my first time and I'm in the middle of doing it now... I've read all 66 pages of this thread btw.
