The scosche might pop it out more, but it won't be so sunk in. Not quite sure on the Pioneer HU though if you can trim down there ring or not, Wrathernaut will probably chime in on this one I believe he has a Pioneer or at least dealt with them.
Yes I want steering wheel controls,
But in the list it states what to use the PAC-SWI for, which my choice of HU is not under. Thats why I chose the Metra Axxess ASWC Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface.
Yea I think I can make the HU flush with the dash if not its okay.
Thanks for the input.

Go with the Scosche you won't have to worry about it at all, it might pop out more then you want but it still looks better then sunk in. I'll be posting pics of my finished install here sometime soon I'm almost done.

What do you think of the 3400 Vs. the 4400? I kind of like the side buttons on the 3400 but can't really tell the difference between the two spec wise they both have the same output one has a bigger screen and that about it.

Sorry not trying the thread jack...

well i did a lil research really quick and called pioneer and PAC

and pioneer said That there model will work great and to use PAC
and then they said to call PAC to get better assistances
and i did

PAC said that they do work for all Pioneer
and as long as they have the out/in put for there PAC module it will work great

3400 has no motorized display
usb in the front
does not have Multi-Channel Processor Ready (DEQ-P7650/DEQ-P6600)

if it was for me .. my prefernce would be 4400 or 8400
cause i like the cleaner look . and bigger screeen
and to think about it . whats the point of having button *** on the screen n doing the pac swi control steering module.. then ull have both ..
i rather have bigger screen

and
2 pin point the difference btwn the 8400 n 4400
8400 has advance app mode which will b more bad @$$ control everything from the screeen
and has higher resolution and all and dual usb in the back

and idk im saving up for the 8400 lol hopefully i helped u out

Yea, I really like the usb in front along with the aux in front, what is motorized display? like live wall papers and what not? I am not looking to add anything to it just want to have something that functions LOL and the 3400 seems to be pretty far in price alone with all the cool functions. I am keeping my stock speakers and not looking to add a sub. I was going to buy the 3300 but now the 3400 is out it looks like a way better option.

So I need to get the PAC instead os the ASWC? Or will both work. Sorry for the million questions I really do appreciate the help.

Motorized display means u have the opition to tilt the screen. Up n dwn for btter angle n glare n
Yea of course they have custome backgroun
And I would go with Pac n but I'm sure u can use the other 1 also. Not sure

Um although pioneer has those prices I'm pretty sure when they come out . It will cost a bit ddifferent. Prbly less
N yea I'm planning to keep my stock speakers n amp. N but add a subs in the back which I already did.

Um for your pick um its up to your prefences n budget

What I was gonna do for the usb n aux. Run them thru the center console into my arm rest
I dnt realy like all those wires hanging from the front.
If yur gonna use ur ipod as a juke box. I would have the usb in the bak n run the wire so u won't b able 2 see them. But if ur gonna always take off ur music then get the ***. I like the cleanness

Lmk if u need any other help
