05 Nav Conversion w/ Eclipse Double-DIN HDD
Just had the Eclipse Double-DIN conversion completed on my 05 G35. At a total cost of 3k for the conversion and the Eclipse 30GB Hard Drive navigation it can be pricey, but much better than the factory option and the inability to control the system while driving.
Also, with hard drive setup, it rips your CD's as soon as you put them in. And lets the wife watch DVD's while still using the navigation.

Just installed the IVA-W200 and it's pretty sweet.
One question... Is there a built-in signal booster for the FM antenna? I ask this because I think the stock deck got better FM reception. I'm wondering if I need to hook up the 12v power antenna wire on the radio harness.

yep- you'll definitely need to hook up that 12v power antenna lead to the g's antenna amp or you'll be hearing a lot of static.

Hey felloz, I ordered the DD kit and the AC Controller for my 05 G35... It should be here soon, I am planning on going with the new Pioneer AVHP6800DVD>>>HERES THE PIC>>>

Its pretty nice because it has everything that my stock radio has. 6dics changer in dash, MP3 etc... This screen adds DVD/CD/TV tunner/Bluetooth
My question is, Has anyone figured out how to get the stock nav Voice working with the screen because i have the stock power nav! I really don't care if I loose the voice that much but i would rather have it working so i don't feel like I lost it. ANy info is helpfull thanks guys

I moved my D1 to my RX7 after installing the Z1 in my G. Now whenever I have to use the D1, it strikes me as being, well, old. I was happy with the D1 when it was all I had, but now, not so much.
