Here's your quick reference, and I figured out a way where you don't need to cut your own shield, simply use the front shield that you would remove anyway and flip it horizontally so its direction of cutoff is ----\____ not ____/----- And glue over top of the rear shield.

Hope the pictures help.

Thanks alot!
When looking close at arrows both the front sheild with the screw holes and the rear are connected as one piece and are ---\___, are you saying remove both these ---\____ and then flip horizontal? The the screw holes will be facing the other side unless you bend the concave back teh other way ? but then the flat screw hole part wont bent back to how it is now?

And then as you glue it back on, is to that bottom flat bit you see in the pic where the base of the bigger red arrow is?

and finally can i still do this CM mod to it?

Thanks once again I have my lights now so ill open them up on weekend and take pics

and the cut off

what does that other little bit of metal do in pic 2?

Looking from inside the projector

So easy as gluing a bit of metal where the yellow is and then cutting where the white is?
would i need to extend that bit of metal in pic 2 so its at the same length to the edge as in pic 1?

Any other suggestion of improving light output and improving this ?

Also low beam uses H1 Philips H1 12258, any idea of brightest replacement?
Something like this?

Thanks

H1 is the high beam, uses D2S as low beam i think...
so your saying get a HID H1 kit? any suggestions on which one

I get the ----\___ bit (refering to my last picture) just cut where the white bit is and glue more metal to fill up the yellow section) so its ----\____ but what about that other bit of metal on the other side? how its closer to the edge with the ----/____ would i need to remove it and move it across to other side or what?

Thanks again Ivory GT
i see u are a vendor, do u sell bulbs still ?

Adjust the curve of the shield until the sides are flat and push/pull the center of the shield until the cutoff is focused.

What are you confused about here? His choice of background is uber confusing (blinds warped in the lens).

He is showing what the modified mounting is like.
