Looks great, man! I tried PlastiDip on my wife's grille ('03 Corolla) today, and it turned out really well. I might just go for it on my G.

Next plasti dip project is to cover the rest of the chrome on the car (window trim and trunk lid). i know its going to take quite a lot of masking and taping. i'll post some pics soon.

I just did my grill the best paint the matches stock lower grills is Dupli-Color, Flat Black. 2 coats of primer, 3 to 4 coats of black. A paint booth does wonders as well if you have access to one. I'll post pics later.
