350evo is having Thanksgiving sale right now including sway bar kit for $319.95 which is pretty close to new Hotchikis kit.

Any update about pros/cons compared to Hotchikis is appreciated.

BTW short shifter is on sale too. I just had mine installed and I love it.

Eibach & D-Specs

Here’s a ***** post:

If you are new to sway bar = you might consider remaining suspension = local to So Cal - practically new Tociko D-Specs (less than 1K miles) and Eibach Pro springs (couple years old, but car is rarely driven).

Pics of my car are out here (or I will post/PM request) - stance is great and this is perfect use for spirited street driving... I have since caught the bug for road course (heavy, extreme hard cornering) and am now going with KW V3 coilovers.

If you have HARD tracking in mind, my offer is no good for you. If you want extreme, spirited street handling and showmanship at meets and the dragstrip this is a very good choice (those that know my car will confirm).

PM if local and interested.

So the stillen bars only increase stiffness from 7 to 70%, I couldn't find individual specs on F and R bars. But if I increase both to hard shouldnt I get flatter cornering while retaining the stock over/understeer characteristics since I'd be increasing stiffness equally F and R?

Right now its set to med/med. My only other suspension mods is the eibach pro springs, and I'm running a staggered setup 245/275. I also have SPC A arms and camber arms, camber is set to within stock specs.

With the way its set now the car understeers a bit, if I play with the gas I can usually keep my intended line. This is still a bit odd to me because I spent the last 7 years driving a FWD accord where if I was understeering all I could do was lift off the throttle. Pushing on it instead still feels a little counter intuitive to me. But since I'm more comfortable with understeer than oversteer maybe its best I keep it the way it is?

I could use this, too, someone's selling some 350evo's locally and I'm wondering how they compare to the Stillens and Hotchkiss. I'm especially interested in whether they are noisy, since for now I have a quiet car and don't want to mess with that.

so if i get some sways, keep the car at stock ride height, and have the settings to either soft/med or med/med so you think the stock endlinks will be an issue on my 04 coupe?

good to know

maybe i'll upgrade to the 05+ endlinks just to be safe

i think they're cheap, and a little more stout than the 03-04s

Anyone running asymmetrical stiffness settings on their adjustable bars? i.e. closest to the bar on one side and middle hole on the other? This would be between med and stiff (med-stiff). Curious as to what your experiences are.

Stillen has that in there instructions, that's how they get "5 way" adjustment on them.

What is the general consensus on basic sways? Seems like most people go with the stillens? Are my 06 coupe endlinks something to worry about cracking?
