G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Installed my Hotchkis sways today and I totally agree. Made a night and day difference in how the car handles.
by the way the hotchkis sway bars are not ~260 but a mere 399.95 haha

for my 07 sedan, is this the right model for my car?

if so, is this the cheapest?

All- fantastic thread! Re-asking what someone asked much earlier in it- have an 08 G35s sedan. What's going to give the best benefit- sways, or springs? I'm running stock right now except for coupe 19s (same width as sport 18s, just +1 size). Spirited commuting and I'll track it 2-3 times/year. Considering Eibach pro-kit (1.4/1.3 drop), keeping stock sport shocks.
Thanks!
Thanks!
yea, i never meant to say that the hotchkis bars busted my endlink... just that any aftermarket bar would've probably done it. it's all about the increased stress put on the endlinks due to the stiffer bars
as a side note, I decreased the stiffness to low-med (hole 2) in the front (dont remember what the rear is set to), and the new OEM endlinks are holding up fine

Busted rear end links are so common without OEM bars, it's a wear issue. New OEM are not too expensive, the Powergrids are very $$$ but possibly the best you can buy for your car. If adjustability and durability matter, then they are worth the investment. The also help you get more out of the sway over OEM due to a better range of motion, less tendency to bind. I picked mine up from Adam at Z1 Performance, great links.
and yes the Hotchkis bars have been coming with welded collars now for several years, unlike their generic photo. And new poly bushings are included, and yes they will squeak if you don't lube them, worse than OEM rubber bushings.
Plus the clamps and bushings on at least one end came already fitted for Zirc fittings so you can lube the bushings w/o removing them. I think it was in the rear but honestly don't remember.

If you're going to change anything, change the springs if you're looking (be honest) to tuck the wheels in for appearance as much as performance, and leave the sways to a later date. The Eibachs are a good choice when you're retaining stock dampers. They do a good job of matching OEM rates to their changed rates w/o going outside the range where handling improves (except for their springs clearly labeled for LOWERING -see link below).
The OEM sways are pretty good, esp when bushings and the links are new, so you may not notice a large difference. See the first post in this thread - notice that Hotchkis for example are less of an increase over stock stiffness in new model years, Nissan/Inifiniti starting putting stiffer sways OEM and better dampers than in the first few years. So in your car it may not be so dramatic as older MY, take advice from '03-05 MY Sedan owners with a grain of salt as to how much better their car was with new sways.
Older model years the spring rates were a lot lower, and a lot of people buy sways to control body roll that should be handled by compression of the dampers and the spring rates (03-04 Sedans and Coupes to a less degree were softer). Too much sway ruins the handling of the car and creates a mismatch to your springs and dampers. SO if you did do sways make sure they are adjustable - 3 or 4 hole - so you can dial in just a bit. With the Hotchkis for example you might find #1 or #2 up front (softest to next level) are plenty. I ran my front on my '04 on #3 (next to most stiff) up front and it sucked. 82% over stock was too much, note each hole is double the prior one in terms of stiffness increase.
BUT, that's quite a bit of drop, on the 07's it was closer to 1.1/1.0 inch drop. Car may look better and feel better but overall you may be compromising your handling with much over an inch of drop and stock dampers, even "sport". That extra 4/10th may not sound like much but as a % of total travel going much over an inch on stock dampers starts to be questionable if better overall handling is your main objective. Maybe that's a misprint, but try to stick to an inch or a tenth plus or minus.
Also look at the spring rates, IIRC your car came with linear springs and the Pro-Kit uses progressive spring rates lower at the front end and progressively stiffer. Just don't go Sports, they are radically lowering springs:

Looking to upgrade my sway bars soon (this thread is awesome, thanks for the info), I think I've settled on Hotchkis; good reliable name brand and the performance specs are top notch.
Anyway, so I want to go ahead and get aftermarket endlinks so I don't run into problems down the road (good metaphor) with the stock ones, can anyone offer me some input on the Whiteline adjustable endlinks? Thanks.

Excellent. Friend runs them on his STi, very pleased with them. Whiteline is a great company for standing behind their products in the long haul. Powergrid were a bit expensive so if you can land the Whiteline for less $$$, I'd go there.
