I have stockers now. I'm gonna install my cuscos and I can't wait to see the difference. I just need to find the bushings now. I got cuscos because it was a really good deal. I was considering hotchkis otherwise.
Most members run then on soft/med up front not hard... What's your setting at ?

I have my front on the second hole, which i believe is soft/med and the rear is also at the second hole (med/med). I was going to start with the first hole, but I heard that would make it softer than OEM, I think 5% softer. I will play around and see how it feels and see if the noise changes.

Good luck with your decision
make sure it's not your compression rod bushings... way back before it was common and a TSB I went through the same process you did, thinking it was sway bar bushings or endlinks - got under car twice, greased up SB bushings, tightened endlinks - sound was still there... took to dealer, low and behold compression rod bushings (at the time it was the first that I have heard of, now its one of the most common issues of the car).

I just went in to my folder where I kept all the invoice I got from infiniti for work done under warranty and I found that I had my front compression rod bushings replaced on March this year. The invoice said they found the bushings torn and it was replaced. I am still going to check them, but I am starting to doubt that the bushings are bad again that quickly.

Installed Motordyne sways last night, and love them. They really compliment the 350Z revised springs and the D-specs that were already on my 6mt sedan. The above link to the Whiteline solid vs. hollow paper seems to confirm Tony's decision to use solid bars. These bars use the stock rear bushings and come with new front (stock style rubber) bushings.

I got Cusco because they are solid and it was a great deal... $250 new from a guy that had a Z and never installed here in Miami.
But Now I'm looking for bushings and I can't find them... The bars have 35mm f and 22mm rear. Any sugestions ? I was thinking in getting the universal stuff but I might encounter problems making it fit...

Small upgrade when compared to after market bars...just get the progress sway bars. They work and they're affordable.

I'd recommend just using the factory service manual, you'll need it for the torque specs anyway. The front is very simple, just unbolt the old and bolt in the new. The rear is more difficult with the exhaust in the way. On my sedan (single exhaust), I was able to get the rear bar out without unbolting the exhaust, but it took awhile to manage that. When I did it, I had the car on blocks under the wheels. I think you could do it with the car on stands (wheels unsupported), but I'm not 100% sure. Make sure that each side of the suspension is at the same height. If you have the FL corner jacked up and the FR corner on the ground, you will have a hard time since there will be torsion on the bar.

Most packages should come with an intructions manual that tells you exactly what to do. You don't exactly need it really because it's pretty straight forward. Ordered Hotchkis. I'm not that experienced with this sort of thing and it took me around almost 3 hours to do the front bar. Ran into a few problems just because some of the bolts were hard to reach and really tight. Just make sure you have the tools for it and it'll be smooth sailing from there.

Need help!
went to install my front hotchkis sway tonight and couldn't disconnect the endlinks. the tab between the sway and end link sheared off and I've got nothing to grab on the other side to keep the bolt from turning with the nut. anyone got suggestions?

I used a set of needle nose pliers. The nut will get to a point where it starts to seat itself and the inside shaft will quit turning. At least is did it on mine on both sides.

Hope this helps you out as well.
