Mr Clean Auto Dry

Guys, i just bought and used the MR Clean Auto Dry and it works well for a normal wash. Afterwards i noticed the paint felt like a layer of wax was gone (ie not as smooth as before) is it possible that the soap removed the wax? In general will body wash(non-dawn) remove wax??

Thanks

Did you dry it or let it "auto-dry".

I use the pro model for 2 years now. Works great. You don't have to use their soap, just the jetdry cartridge. I always wipe it down with a blue waffle towel so I can be sure the spots are gone. Works great on motorcycles.

The Mr. Clean soap does have a lot of detergents and can remove wax. It probably won't remove most sealants. Either way you'll probably want to replace the soap; the system will continue to work with a good quality automotive soap.

I didn't have any luck with mine. I even replaced the cartridge and got the same results. The first time I used it I just let it air dry and came back in a couple of hours to find my car riddled with water spots. I spent the next day and a half washing, stripping and claying the spots off. Next two times I dried the car as ususal and after that it went in the trash. what a waste of money...Maybe my waters to hard for it work.
