As for the mitts, if you are referring to sheepskin wash mitts, I just rinse them with free flowing water and hang dry. Do not put sheepskin mitts in the washer or dryer as the natural fibers vary in durability as many have already stated. Once there's even a slight tear its usually down hill from there.
