transgo valve body opinions wanted

i've got an 05 G sedan with basic bolt ons right now. i plan on doing a few more bolt ons but nothing serious. i was doing alittle reading about the transgo valve body mod and i remember reading it was for FI'ed G's but, i see on here many NA people are using the transgo. since i'm auto i'm wanting to do what i can to help with my tranny.

when doing the transgo is there anything else i need to do? is a flush recommended or anything like that? also, if you've got the transgo, is the paddle shifter mod still possible? i'd really like to try out the paddle shifters but, want a better, more responsive tranny. i'm alittle worried about the stock tranny holding up. it just seems like there's more than just the transgo that should be done. i mean i may be wrong but, i just wanna make sure.

are there any negatives to the transgo? i know if helps with shifts and all but, what exactly does it do? does it effect when not driving manually in the auto?

i was thinking about this today and wanted some input on it. i'm really wanting the paddle shifters so those may come first if they can be used with the transgo. not sure which manufacturer of paddle shifters to go with yet. going to do some reading on those as well. any input on the valvebody upgrade is greatly appreciated.

prob should've done more reading before posting this thread. all the info you're looking for has already been posted multiple times...

- Tranny cooler is a good idea to go w/TransGo

- Paddle shifters work well w/vb upgrade

- vb upgrade it actually good for the tranny due to less "slippage"

- negatives; extremely violent shifts, sometimes even when you don't want them to be

The cause is the TransGo, it's what the kit is made to do.
