MREV2 with 5/16 spacer installed with Dyno

I finally got Mrev2 installed yesterday... and OMG... my car is so much more fun to drive! The sound is awsome.... and I can totally feel the gains when passing cars on the freeway. I'm the biggest skeptic ever, and I can tell you that this mod really works. Car drives so much better now!

I had Z Car Garage install Mrev2 on the dyno. He did 2 baseline pulls and 2 pulls after install. The dyno chart is the best of the 2 pulls. Very happy with the mod!

This was a straight bolt on. just replaced the old lower collector and and replaced it with Mrev2 and add the 5/16 spacer.

i think only non-revups have to worry about running lean with the mrev2 + spacer combo

check it out here:

The MREV2 should be used without a spacer on the standard engine, unless fuel/ECU modifications have been performed as it may cause the engine to run lean.

I just wanted to clarify something. If you look at the peak numbers, you only gained around 2ft/lb of torque. That's misleading(not going into the whole "curve" discussion), because the baseline peak is affected by the spike later in the dyno. In peak numbers alone, it looked like you really gained around 10 to 15 ft/lb of torque.

hey fini! pretty similar numbers to my MREV+ 5/16 spacer.. except that my car was bone stock other than the MREV+ and 5/16 spacer.
dynoed on the ZCG dynojet too. probably a useful reference

I'm confused about something. I've been doing some searching here, and it seems that the 2005 6mt's are putting down around 230-ish whp. Doesn't that seem slightly low for a car rated at 298 hp at the crank? Shouldn't we be getting closer to 250whp with an estimated 15% drivetrain loss?

I'm with you. My 04 was only 260/260 and I haven't seen any definitive 0-60 or 1/4mi times much different from the 03-06 models.

just a term they have been using to distinguish between the new/old engine... newer engine has a higher rev limiter, so they call it rev-up
