thanks guys
I installed 1/2' spacer.. at 2700 ft above sea level - Was slightly perturbed by the fact that all I noticed was more aggressive engine tone... got to 120 ft sea level (home territory) and all hell broke loose!!!! You WILL feel the difference!!!

People, weather it's an after market plenum i.e. Crawford, Kinetix, or Motordyne spacer - DEFINALETLY DO IT!!!!

I chose the stealth look of the spacer - have done well on the track and dyno. I'm am NOT paid OR sponsored (although I'm open)...

271hp (AT sedan) - of all my mods, honestly MD 1/2" spacer has made the most notable difference. Butt dyno and Dynapack have proved it!

All above observations were pre-ECU ... The only thing I've gained from TS ECU is higher rev at track. (Never needed in even the most spirited daily diving conditions)

A few Canadian bro have them......

G-force has one ('05 MT sedan.)
Not sue if Chico has his done yet ('05 AT sedan)
Balzz had one & removed to autocross. ('05 MT coupe)

Search a few threads for more info.
I think the consensus is that '05 ATs give the best results

I have one on my '04 & love it.....

I was being lazy

I found a thread that Hydrazine had posted "On VLEO8181's 05 6MT G35 Coup the results were ZIP, ZERO, NADA! " (https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...ht=spacer+2005)

The only variable was the Long Ingen CAI, it may be a variable.

I can respect a vendor that is open about results...even if it means cutting off some of it's perspective buyers.

I agree it's very refreshing to have a vendor like Tony...

Stay tuned re the thermal isolator.
It should provide benefits to ALL models

Ok... I'm so confused.
I want to buy a spacer now.
I want to keep my engine cover on.
Which size do I buy and how do I buy it?
And how much is it?

This is what motordyne will probably recommend 5/16” spacer and a 1/16” thermal isolating gasket. your cover will sit nicely on top of it.
heres their site youll find pricing in there.

So is it still $215 for the 5/16" spacer with the thermal stuff?
Or how do I indicate that I want the thermal stuff when I buy it via the website?

No...
That's the spacer price only.
(5/16 to keep cover)

The site hasn't been updated yet with the thermal isolator.

I guess I'll just get the 5/16" spacer.
Cool Thanx for your help guys.

How's the sound with one of these installed?
I heard the engine sounds deeper.

I'm actually shipping all plenum spacers with the thermal upgrades even though the website hasn't been updated yet.
