If you want the best, simply use AMSOIL SSO Signature Series 0W-30.

I guess what I am saying is, since the better line of AMSOIL is only a little bit more in price,(but lower in cost), and performs so much better, I really don't pay much attention to the XL-7500 series.

But it isn't a blend, I posted Amsoil's official statement on it, and you are still arguing that its group IV, are you saying the manufacturer is lying now?

HiTechOilCo. Not only are you the worst thread quoter in the history of forums, you're getting PWNT on your own product by someone that doesn't even work for Amsoil.
Classic.

AMSOIL is great. I buy direct through the website and it's not that expensive for what it is.

In truth though, without a turbo, AMSOIL is a bit of overkill, in that it's really better than our cars need.

With engines costing thousands of dollars to replace these days, it might be very financially wise to use the best oil one can find. Since AMSOIL costs so much less to use than other oils, it makes it a no brainer anyway. The best for less.

Interesting article. AMSOIL proved the best in the tests performed. I found it odd to compare oils from differing companies, yet the oils were not of the same viscosity, so of course the lighter weight/thinner oil provided the most power output, as it will produce the least drag.

Curious...why didn't you use AMSOIL instead?

bottom line is... if you care about your ride as i do... you'll always use the best YOU feel is right for your engine. I'm happy with Amsoil. running a supercharged setup. i chose to use 5w40 AMSOIL. it's holding up great. i always warm the car up so the oil is free flowing to the supercharger as well, and also so the engine has expanded to seal internally. especialy for us FI folks up here in cooler climates.

I normally use the 100% synthetic. But if I don't have time to do my oil change, the XL 5w30 is fine when I take it to a oil change shop. It isn't the 25k mile oil, just a 7500 mile oil. So it doesn't have as many detergents in it and it's more of a group III oil over a PAO.
