350z engine cover also fits. The Infiniti one blocks in a lot of heat so its really not good for a performance standpoint.

in response to the uy who talked about launching a viper........

I find the 300 HP G to be harder to launch than my 600 hp supercharged cobra. The reason being wheel hop and a lack of low end power in the G. For me, it is much easier to modulate too much power than to deal with a soggy bottom end and a hopping axle.

Boy I sure ran into hop when I was at the strip. Its a precarious balance between max lanuch and hop.

You said that 15hp was the lowest gain that you saw, what was the lowest gain in Torque that you saw, or at least the average gain?

15HP is the lowest peak gain ever measured. TQ was higher. And the peak will occur at about 4200 RPM with the next bump at about 5500. You can see it in plots on the first page.

The general shape of the modified curve is always the same. Decrease above 6.5K and a large gain below 6.5K with significant gains all the way down to about 3.5K.

Its a hell of a lot more streetable.

ABSOLUTELY. It will work great with any of them.

Might work even work better with the Vortech type FI system because they are generally low in TQ.

This will go a long way in helping the TQ.

It varies of course but here is what we got on Klumzyees G35.

Pre and Post ECU resets, same car, same day, same dyno, same tank of gas, same ambient temps, same coolant temps. Same everything.

Installed it on the dyno.

BocaCoup,

I'll go with yours. It doesn't appear to mean anything special. Its just simple and doesn't need explanation. If it gets too deep some may not know what it means. Its probably better to KISS.

I'll hook you up! LMK when.
Tony

PS Can you guys LMK what you think of the attached example of the new website. What are your thoughts?

I need to make a better looking website. Hopefully this one will be done soon.

I think that's a nice layout.
However, on the headline phrase, ... I believe it should be worded, "The latest evolution of Motordyne Engineering's plenum spacers are here ..." But maybe not, b/c you may be pointing at "evolution", which would make it singular ..... i dunno

... but I like the website design.

so this is an isothermal plenum spacer? When can we expect it to be released publicly? I know you said there will be an article, but I'm talking about a general release

As soon as it posted on the new web site. Its released.

And the Iso Thermal is a permanent part of all Motordyne plenum mods. No point in letting the air get any hotter than it has to...
