how to beat an m3....

Just cause the numbers there doesnt mean that its going to run X time in a 1/4.. plus some of you guys are only looking at these (including our) cars by 1/4 mile numbers, 60ft, HP, TQ.. while completely ignoring other elements like drivetrain, tranny (Gears), actual power curves (yes the dyno tells u more than just the peak numbers 
), and the fact that cars go beynod the 1/4 mile and past 110mph
friend with the M3 is getting his CF Lip fixed and repainted so its gona be out tomorrow.. (when i gotta take my car to the infiniti dealer) so we'll see wsup.. hopefully they wont take a year on it.. or else you'll be seeing '05 Beaten Up Rental 5AT Sedan vs 2005 M3 6MT w/Cat-Back lol

All things being equal, an M3 is going to beat the pants off of our cars. Sorry, it's a fact of life. Unless you are going FI or the other driver is a complete moron, they are going to beat us. There's no shame in that. Our cars are plenty fast.....however there are faster cars out there.
Now, do you want to know the secret to beating an M3? Here ya go:
1) Let the air out of their tires before the race.
2) Put sugar (or you can be nice to them and just use Equal.....fewer calories) in their gas tank....DO NOT ACTUALLY DO THIS, IT'S A JOKE. I WILL DISTANCE FROM YOU IF YOU ACTUALLY PERFORM THIS, BECAUSE IT WILL COMPLETELY RUIN A CAR.
Give props to the M3, it's a great car. If the money was there, I would have paid for one. However, the G35 is everything I could have asked for and more.

I do agree that the M3 has a great engine but lousy exterior. The styling is so damn old and looks like an Audi and VW. Well, it just doesn't look good to me as it use to BACK IN 2000. Just my humble opinion
You don't need FI to beat a M3 or hang with one and we have already proved that many times. Get off the M3 stage buddy. The m3 isn't all that.

This thread HAS BECOME stupid. To be honest, I didn't even remember the original post. This thread has become it's own monster. Here are the facts:
The M3 has 333HP. Our G35s are either 280 or 298 (depending on transmission). Advantage M3.
The M3 however appears to be an awfully heavy car, so it does have that strike against it. But, the M3 is also a better engine from the stand point of getting more power to the wheels. Advantage M3.
Do I think it's impossible for the G35 to beat an M3? No. But, for the G35 to beat the M3, the M3's driver would have to be EXTREMELY inexperienced at driving the car -or- a really pansy that isn't really give the car it's full power.
If you have two driver's that are of equal experience at driving their own cars, the M3 will win.
So, to follow up:
Equal experienced drivers: M3 wins....hands down.
Bad driver in M3 with good driver in G35: It's a toss-up.
I'm sure I'll get trashed for even posting this since I didn't come out and say "Yes, the G35 will clearly beat an M3". I'd rather post the truth than to just try to make everyone happy.
With that said, just GET FI and blow his *** out of the water. Nuff said.
