Before purchasing please check & see if you are pre-wired for this unit, for 2003 the VIN rages are as follows, (these go by the last 6 digits of your VIN):
Sedan VIN: 321894 & higher
Coupe VIN: 210827 & higher
All 2004 and later cars are pre-wired from the factory.

One other thing to note, my 05 sedan did not come pre-wired and I ended up ordering the N-bus cable after discovering this. Everything works like a charm and I highly recomend everythingg35.com as they were very helpful in getting my system to work, even though we had no idea if it would. EDIT = forgot to note that my G sedan is Canadian - I hear the Canadian 05 coupe is pre-wired /EDIT
You can see my original post about the install here

Thanks alot for the VIN verification jtesensky, mine is an 03 coupe but a later VIn than 210827 so I should be all set to go. Now I just have to decide on XM or Sirius!
Great License plate too!!

I'm not positive here, so it's best to talk to your Eclipse dealer. I'm just basing it on the fact that Eclipse would probably use a proprietary cable for the connection, just as Infiniti does with the N-bus.
I know my former car had the Alpine unit with XM and it used an Alpine specific cable.
