Re: Hyper-Ground (Earthing) Kit Resource Thread

Wow, with raging endorsements like that one, I'm going to have to do a lotto to decide whom I do kits for! I only have time to do about 2 kits per week (darn day job and family gets in the way). Of course the guys doing this commercially will be happy as I usually refer some business their way. As long as the feedback keeps coming on this thread, I'll continue to help get Earthing Kits into your cars!

Re: Hyper-Ground (Earthing) Kit Resource Thread

I have Happies713's ground kit and I drove to Shannonville Race Track from Markham in Ontario, Canada and what a difference it made on fuel economy. I used to get 400kms on a tank of gas and now I can probably get 500+ kms. That was all highway driving about 200km there and 200km back. Usually at 200kms I'm already at half tank, but I was only one line below 3/4 of gas. I will report back on daily stop and go traffic later on. I still have the 7th wire to install, but I'm too lazy to jack up the car.

It's still a G thang!!

Re: Hyper-Ground Kit-Experiences, Feedback, Etc.

GG - if you're worried about heat resistance and longevity of your wires, you might check out some aircraft grade wire. 4 Ga. Mil spec wire can be had for around $2/foot from:

http://www.wicksaircraft.com/gotopage.php?page=127
or
http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalo...hieldlwire.php

This is the stuff the FAA and USAF specify for their aircraft. One drawback -- I've only found this wire in white.

Gordgee, I just started getting paid again, so I'm really interested in this again. Give me a couple of weeks before I approach my wife on this You are still selling them right? Anyway, I'll let you know when I'm ready.

Re: Hyper-Ground (Earthing) Kit Resource Thread

Okay Gordgee, I finally got the time this afternoon to install my 6 wire grounding cables you sent me. As far as the kit goes....excellent construction and quality as I had expected! Because I am extremely **** about cosmetic quality and installation quality, I'm sure it took me a little longer than most about 1.5 hrs. I wanted it to be very clean and unobtrusive. I'm gonna take it out for a couple of preliminary runs tonight and get some butt dynos. Stay tuned and I'll give ya an update as to performance.
Once again Gordon, thanks for contributing to this forum and for devoting so much time and effort in this Grounding Kit! Your awesome!

Re: Hyper-Ground (Earthing) Kit Resource Thread

I tried to read as many posts as I could, but my God, 28 pages! Has anyone dyno verified their G after installing the grounding kit? Also, how has the service department treated this modification. Did they give you any static?

Re: Hyper-Ground (Earthing) Kit Resource Thread

So far, no G35s to my knowledge have dyno'd. It's not all about power increase anyway, but I think one of the guys over on the 350Z forum dyno'd about a 4HP gain.

Re the service department, read my FAQ. The local dealership is suggesting the mod!

g35Slv:

I PM'd you.

Hmmm. Got back from the dealer today. The GM said he said he hadn't noticed much difference on his 6MT 350Z, except for the one day when the weather was cooler. It's been hot here lately. Does anyone else notice if it makes more difference on cooler or drizzley days?

Re: Hyper-Ground (Earthing) Kit Resource Thread

My sedan definitely feels more sluggish in the heat but I attribute that to the heat, grounding kit or not. It is much peppier in the low 60s and into the 50s. I haven't seen temps lower than that since I've had mine installed so can't comment on that.

Re: Hyper-Ground (Earthing) Kit Resource Thread

Always around 100 degrees here in Houston!
Purchased a GG grounding kit for my wife's 2000
Maxima after putting the 7 wire set on my sedan.
Loved the set on the sedan so much, I had to Hyper
Ground the Maxima. OH Boy! Can't wait till it arrives.
SH*T! Some idiot backed his rental "truck" into the front
end of the Max. The idiot who rented the truck purchased
the Enterprise Insurance. Well... the Max has been in the
Body Shop since Monday afternoon and these ASSH*(%s
still have not autorized work to begin. Gordon's Grounding
kit will arrive with no Max in the garage. I'm so disappointed.
Oh well, my 350Z intake duct arrived and that will give me
something (burn gas) to play with.
