Beat that you say, no problem.

In the year 2010 you will still be flip flopping around trying to decide whether to install your S/C and gauges for your G which you will be flip flopping on the decision of whether to keep it or sell it.

The real question is how much longer can the power wars last? At the rate gas prices are climbing and maintaining!

V6 SRT = 30k who's going to pay that for a neon...

I'll just consider that response which completely avoided the issue at hand as an argumentative victory for me!!

Neon's don't run 13.0 stock now and they won't in 5 years either. How are the percentages working out today? Yesterday was 60/40 for the install...

Sitting at 60/40 firm

Here is the breakdown:

60% - Ahh f' it...you only live once. I am single. No kids. I can have a ton of fun now. Like someone told me in an email...Life is not a dress rehersal, you only live once. It's a rather safe kit when you get it tuned. It'll be fun getting on those on-ramps.

40% - Thats a ton of money to spend on a performance mod that I will never see a dime come back. Its voiding any engine/powertrain warranty that my new 2005 vehicle has (only 8K miles). My tranny would eventually need upgrading. In a few years, I may be itching for a nicer ride. Putting a lot of money into a car that is being redesigned next year isn't fun. Will the next engine have more displacment? What about a V8 version? Drop Top verison? How many speed tickets can I possibly get?

So. There is the breakdown of the moment. Of course it changes every 10 minutes.

My original post was "'x' car will be running 13's in 5 years" which could mean anything from a 13.0 to a 13.9... just a heads-up

Finiti, you implied (I'm too lazy to re-read thru and quote you) that economy cars would be JUST AS FAST as our G's with FI in 5 years. I seem to remember the only car mentioned was an Eclipse. Just as fast is 13.0 or 12.8 as far as I'm concerned.

Jason, the king requests your presents at the royal S/C install ball. The event will be held on the 25th and 26th of August, year 2005 and attire will be casual. On the menu will be fast cars, heart pounding adrenaline, boost, speed and the occasional chirp into 4th gear.

It's been a bumpy ride. I ruled out Turbo b/c I didn't want so much torque that my internals would have to be replced. That left Stillen and Vortech. I wanted the Stillen b/c of the power range but the hood looked hideous. That left the Vortech vs NA. But like you said..."wtf" Sometimes you just gotta roll the dice and have some fun.

And Neff...you can interpret this response as a 70/30 lean.
