This thread should never had started until all the facts were known, now we have pages and pages of people making assumptions and taking sides and then this pops out of nowhere.

Goes to show like I said on the other site, there is a lot of information which is not being shared and people need to wait till the report comes out.

so the engine inspection report is pretty much useless and voided then....

so the timeline went like this?

- bought engine from GTM
- installed it
- got head lift
- owner took back car
- raced the engine hard, causing more damage
- brought the car back to you for engine diagnosing/warranty work

is that how it all went down?

IMO he absolutely shouldn't have been racing it and absolutely shouldn't have even been driving it period if it was going to be subject to inspection for warranty reasons.

Really Julian, you shouldn't have given him his keys back if it could have been helped and warned him it'd probably make things worse with warranty issues. If you're the shop who's doing the work and offering to take care of warranty issues - that's your responsibility.

This is especially so if he hasn't paid the bill. IMO he waved any warranty he had goodbye when he took the car and drove away causing more damage and probably covering up a proper diagnosis from happening


I mean damn though. If I bought a new TV and it didn't work right, then threw a brick at it - you can't expect it to all be handled under warranty....companies use that diagnostic info for making fixes so it doesn't happen again.

btw zaza, I think you mean lien, not lean.

There's no point of pointing fingers or attempting to throw someone under the bus right now. It's best to be mature about it, and wait it out for the independent results. As a personal friend of Jerome, I know that if the whole thing was his fault, he'd know to man up.

As when i picked up my car with the headlift i was told and there were 4 witnesses Just take the care we will square up when this whole thing is done. Thinking it wouldnt be a 6 month ordeal. Now im being protrayed as the bad guy because why? The report didnt go against GTM on my second motor. Motor 1 and motor 2 have NOTHING to do with each other and im sure sam and or george can verify that

Once he posts the report we will get to see who is to blame. To the sound of things I am leaning towards MRC now...but that is before I see the report.

Really, it seems like Julian is grasping for straws right now. Not to stir anything up, but it's somewhat suspicious. I guess once r0me posts the results, we'll know what's up on the motor that is in question right now.

Dude if you picked up the car knowing the head was bad or had gone bad and fixed wouldnt you use your brain and be easy on the car...thats like saying my leg is broken but screw it ill go do sprints at practice its cant brake anymore.


Off topic example:

I had a customer come in last yr saying she had lost her 2 carat diamond from her ring because we didnt set it correctly. They brought the ring in and it look like it came out of the garbage disposal. Granted all the jewelry we make has life time warranty "within normal use"

Was your second motor the first one fixed? Did you pay for anything on getting the motor fixed if it was the same motor?

UNbelieveable Julian......you have no class at all. I KNOW about your habbit of lying from my 5 month order still in progress with MRC. You did it CONSISTENTLY. Don't you worry, when the time is right, everyone will know.

DO NOT address my problems with you in this thread Julian. DO NOT divert the situation to another issue. MODs, If Julian diverts this thread OT to my issues, please DO NOT close this thread and erase all OT stuff regarding me. This issue is between MRC, GTM, and Rome and above is my honest observation.

FWIW - Rome = NEVER lied to me about ANYTHING. He talked me through one of the most embarrassing nights of my life at Edgewater. I can vouch for him. Anyone who wants to question his integrity and doesn't know him, doesn't have his phone number, never met him, etc....GTFO.

Now the issue: MRC and GTM, you PROMISED to take care of the customer in this situation when the independent shop you chose determined who is at fault. WHOEVER IS AT FAULT, HONOR WHAT YOU SAID OR THIS WILL BE THE MOST EPIC FAIL EVER SEEN.

WHOEVER IS DETERMINED TO BE AT FAULT: Pay Rome every m0therf*ucking PENNY you owe him.

God help the shop that screws Rome over....I don't think your doors will stay open past new years.
