False alarm.
Decided to keep the SC and see what becomes of this new blower later this year.

I just opened up my SS box and found a serial connector so I think it can be tuned. I think I am going to try headers, a smaller pulley and a re-tune (if it can be done) to see if I can get that little extra I am looking for.

I did open up my SS box and find a serial port the other day. Some have said it can't be tuned but my dyno guy wants to try. If so then I am much closer to doing it.

If I do the unichip then I am going to install the set of RC 440's sitting in my garage and pull the 750 from the stage 4. So it will take some time. We'll see...

stage 4

Had my stage 4 upgrade added on friday sept. 1st. It is a noticable difference the car feels much faster. I ran a 12.9 1/4 on stage 2 looking foward to seeing if this improves my time. I had the upgrade done at gtmotorsports in rancho cucamonga ca. Sam is a respected turbo guy on these forums. He really knows his stuff. Kinda refreshing to deal with a expert in this area. He also did my clutch flywheel combo and fixed my camber kit that the place I had install left the bolts loose so the camber went way bad. So very happy with this round of upgrades. Also had a exedy flywheel installed and no chattering noise at all. Very happy about that. As for hp #s I will go back and get a dyno he owes me in the next couple weeks. I guess around 340. He ran a dyno with the cats off to test air fuel. I guess you need to do that to get a really acurate reading. that came in at 330. So as we stillen people know you lose power with out cats. He also told me after a test drive that the stillen feels much faster than the hp we get. Thats a pretty good compliment coming from a guy who builds and drives 600 whp TT z'a and g's almost everyday.

He put test pipes on to test air fuel and then put my cats back on. What is a o2 bung? Should I have done that? ANd why?

This is a bung

If you were to run an A/F gauge in your G, a bung would be needed for the o2 sensor te be installed. When your cats came off it would've been a good time to have a bung welded on and plugged.

With a lift taking cats off isn't a big deal, but if the bung was already there you could install a wideband yourself, and or cut down on any dowtime if the shop you use for the wideband didn't have the welding equipment on hand.
