The g35 is a much better looking coupe than the Genesis will ever be by a long shot. I heard the performance is good in th Genesis but it's a fuking Hundai after all. I think the G35 would have better quality. My mom owbed a 04 Sonata before and I didn't like it at all. I heard they are much better now though.

I remember your G37, I've seen it a few times floating around.

I was just a bit surprised that you traded it for a Sonata so quickly, but it was obviously what you were looking for. Nothing wrong with that.

No hate from me man!

As far as I know he still has the G, he just bought the Sonata as a daily.

We all have or likes and dislikes, for me I'd never buy anything Korean even if it were made of gold! I still recall not long ago when they were falling apart, being towed farther than driven....no thanks!

There was another thread somewhere where he stated he traded his G in for the new Sonata.

I must be missing something then.

His posts tend to be pretty random and off the wall sometimes, but yet I still find them entertaining to read and attempt to interpret.

Edit: Found the thread.

And here's the thread.

I may not know him on a personal level or anything, but I thought he did trade the thing in. Hard to sense sarcasm on the forum sometimes. It's the internet.... serious business.

People who own Infinti think they're so much better. But in the end, it's a rebadged Nissan with a 30% price hike.

I'm guessing most people here had crappy pos cars before they bought a G35, so they don't have a good car to compare the G to...

Most of us have owned several cars, and I can tell you that Quality is NOT on our side here folks.

After all, the G does have over 77 TSB'S.

The G is a GOOD LOOKING Car. That's all it's got. It can't even recirculate air w/o forcing the AC to be on. WTF kinda BS is that. LOL

G35 coupe will be a classic...
Genisis will be forgotten in a few years...
i feel like you stole my answer this couldnt have been worded better they have a good warrenty though ive tried my friends and it didnt feel as fun of a ride for me i didnt get that "thrill" if you will. felt like a much faster accent and i know numbers can be facts but i feel our cars sedans or not are quicker.
and last but not least think of the question you asking like this hyndai>Infiniti its almost funny to even look at the quality and status of infiniti is not even comparable even older J30 and Q45 have nicer finishes on interior thats just my opinion and i dont mean to offend anyone who owns a genesis... choose wisely

your opinion is duly noted - and in fact that's all this thread is about "opinions"... however, as an Infiniti owner and someone that has owned & driven various vehicles for more years than a large percentage of people on this site have been alive, I find your statements in bold to be unfounded and frankly absurd.

You can state opinions without making false statements about those of us that own an Infiniti...

Personally I'd have no problem driving a Hyundai as a DD... I've said it from the beginning; if I were in the market for and economy car I'd seriously consider an Elantra... they are actually decent cars... I also like the look of the Genesis - and am recently intrigued by the Optima... I have also said from the beginning that the G35 is an entry level Infiniti (simply an upscaled/glorified Nissan)... we all know this.

Having said that - I haven't had quality issues with my G and I have been pleased with it. However, I've never touted it to be more than it is.

I'd appreciate leaving the generalizations of Infiniti owners out of the stated opinion though.
