I feel like the closer it is the better it looks tho. Just test fitted some spacers (trying to figure out what I need) today for my gt4s. I started with 25mm and (besides it being way too big) the space between the caliper and the spokes looked so horribly dumb. I was glad it didn't work.

Wait, what? Me or Frankie? I don't even have pics if my wheels up yet (well, there's one, but you'll have to find it). As far as Frankie's tho, I'm saying the closer the spokes are to the brakes the better. If you're clearing the brembs by 1/2mm that's legit. Looks tailored AF.

Isn't the minimum supposed to be 2-3mm?
You get a grip

And they look good Frankie. The wheels met the "sit in the garage for two years" criteria. Now they're officially allowed to come out

I ordered:
2 rear wheel bearings, e-brake shoes (since everything will be apart, might as replace that stuff too) and new wheel spacers from b2. This weekend I should be replacing bearings, greasing squeaky sway bar bushings, and hopefully putting my summer wheels/tires back on.

Still have a clunk in the front, now that it's warm enough to drive with windows down my car reminded me it still has issues, lol. I'm leaning toward endlinks.

For endlinks, most of the ones on rockauto say "without sport suspension", was there a difference in endlinks? Or can I just grab the Moog ones and go for it? I have an 06 6MT Sport.

Got some exhaust work done.

Been smelling a slight gas fume and I decided to use my phone to scan for codes. Pending camshaft code so I'll replace that. Maybe that'll stop the gas smell? Doubt it lol

Not G related, but I upgraded the ignition on my wife's S14. Installed S15 Splitfire coilpacks and had a PTU Bypass module custom made by some knockoff electronics manufacturer in Hong Kong. Allowed me to have a completely plug-n-play upgrade without having to modify the harness.

The older style coilpacks had an external power transistor unit and the S15 (and Z33/G35) coil have those electronics built into the coilpacks.

Felt kind of cool to have something go from concept to actual product.

Lubed and bent seized hood hinge so the hood will not contact the fender, looking forward to actually being able to get under the hood and get some of the maintenance and repairs done.

Quote: Lowered the car on 350z S Tech Springs and replaced the shocks/struts. Still need to put in the SPC rear camber arms and toe bolts. Also added authentic JDM clear corners w/o bump. Lastly I got some new tires, the Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport and Wow do they grip.
What does bump mean?
