Question Thoughts on the new 335I BMW?

Just wanted to get everyones feelings about the newcomer in the BMW lineup the 335I. They sure are talking a lot of smack over there on Bimmerfest about our G35 coupes. Personally its not that bad.

yea kinda of an off topic post... i was looking into the 335i, i've done some research and that thing is gonna be mean... sadly faster then our coupes :-( they threw one on a dyno in germany, stock 275whp if u guys find that hard to believe search it on bimmerfest and with twin turbos, all u'll need is a exhaust and an ecu program to eat up e46 M3's left and right

C&D just ran a new 335i coupe for 4.9 0-60 and 13.6 1/4 mile. Thats just a second off from the e46 M3 published times......

^^^^^^ You mean .1 seconds on the 0-60 and .2 seconds on the 1/4...seriously no joke.

335i is a going to be a beast. Forced Induction is the only chance we stand to compete.

Damn, that's freakin fast~! Oh well, we'll just have to wait for our 08 coupe than we'll start bashing the BEMER lol, it'll never stop!

The next gen cars will usually top the competitor. The cycle never ends!

The G rules BMW from 03 to 06

and then the Bemer rules from 07 to 08

then at 08 the new G coupe will kick that 335i's ***!
No worries!

I would never get a BMW. There are 10 times as many BMW's on the road compared to G's. In Clai, everyone has a BMW, so why join the crowd??? Stand out and drive something that looks a hell of a lot better...

+1

or maybe a C6

as far as the G35 is of concern - VRT comes to mind.

FI G35 > 335i

Wow, a whole different ball game with the C6 or Cayman S(which might be my next car ). We're talking about $70K+. Might as well add the GTR to the mix and see who's faster
