I wouldnt be so worried about the power but more so with the blind spots. I have gotten used to it to a point but whenever any of my friends or brothers drive my car they tell me my car is a pain to drive. Also parking next to a curb is much more difficult then most cars out there. Good luck, I would say go cheaper like a civic at first.

Haven't had any problems with blind spots, or parking it.
You just have to be careful!

I agree 100%!!! get an old clunker to beat around in and once you'd learned the fine art of truly driving, then get a G.... by then you should be out of college and working and earning your own living for about 3 years.

i was driving a WRX when i was 16... just as fast, mayber faster 0-60 time as the G.. sure the AWD made it easier to drive than RWD, but with time I think a 16 yr old can learn it.. he just needs to act responsibly - which only you can determine

let's not leave out the Hispanics with their loud a$$ music, putting fur on their dashboards and lowering their Gs and putting hydraulics! I just had to find an excuse to use this thing, what is this?

{Thats funny I was going 145 two weeks ago...

Its fast if you wanna make it fast by pushing it. Personally, I dont think any 16 year old should be learning and driving on this car.

I first started driving a sh!tty white mini-van}

haha, right on!!! i started out driving a white toyota mini van, ill tell you one thing, that thing is a beast, beats civic ricers all day, and its a rally and canyon monster. at least it was for me.

but yeah no g for a 16 year old, unless youre one of those damn kids on super sweet sixteen and is getting one because of that!!!! but yeeeeeeeeah....nice choice
