I had my kinetix kit installed by an alignment specific shop. They also put the control arms upside down (which has been corrected thanks to this thread starters original install pics.) The ball joint was still hitting the fender lining when going over bumps, but my alignment is within factory specs. I e-mailed kinetix and was told I was limited to how much positive camber i could have. Which means I need some neg. camber. I have the eibach pro kit which only lowers the car 1 inch. Whats the point of having this product if it can't correct the alignment and still have neg. camber?
If an alignment specific shop has trouble with no instructions of course you'll get bad installs and thus a bad rep. Also, why did kinetix allow their product to adjust to a point where it can be dangerous, especially if it don't come with instructions or a warning against such dangers?

I still don't understand why they didn't send complete instructions. Even when I ordered my Plenum spacer, it came with complete detailed instructions, not a loosely applied "Guideline". I think if you produce a product, you should spell out to your customers "exactly" how to install it.

Really hate to bring an old thread up but, my rear kinetix camber/toe rod broke at the joint today while I was driving. Luckly I was going about 30ish and didn't crash. At first I thought I blew a tire but, found that my rear driver side tire was completely tilted. Looked under the car and found that the part where it connects to the frame just sheered right off. I didn't get a real good look at it since I haven't fixed it yet but from what I can see is that the circle/loop that the bolt goes into I assume is supposed to be completely round however, mines now looks like a U. Should there be anything else I should inspect or could have damaged besides that rod that I need to be worried about? Keep in mind that I'm not blaming anyone especially kinetix but, just check your camber parts (not sure how though) because this honestly could have been a lot worse.

old thread but still great info. Wonder if Kinetix has changed since '06?

Just go with 350evo or Stillen.
