I've only had my G35 Coupe for 2 weeks now, but I constantly stare at it. I always want to see my car in different scenarios, and I want to do things with my car (nobody get any ideas here) that I haven't done yet. I love going to the gas station even if I'm only half empty. I take my time, clean the windows, check out who's looking I was driving home from work yesterday and pulled up next to an office building with shiney windows. Of course I checked myself out in the car cause you never know what you look like in it!!! At night I go out in the garage with a rag and clean the wheels (all the damn brake dust) and I inspect the entire body for any bugs or blemishes. Then I say "good night" to it and double lock the door. Anyway, I feel like a kid a Christmas every time I drive it. Always willing to run errands for my wife (who still doesn't understand why I park so far away from the grocery store, bank, restaurant, etc.) It's just funny how happy a car can make you. I know I'm rambling, so take care fellow G owners. Let's hope this is like the Z and they quit making them soon!!!!

Congrat. I've owned the car for 2 months now... Even though its been awhile...i still stare at it everytime i get off the car and park it. Just wanna stay with the car the whole time...u know. And...why be like the Zs? The truth is...they wanna be like us...LOL. Keep her clean and drive safe.

It is a sickness, when I walk away from my "G" at night I usually walk backwards and trip over a curb or two. My wife just shakes her head at me, but I like to check out her headlights "the cars not my wifes" and watch them shut down. Then I lock her down one more time watch her blink at me, and listen to her say "see ya soon hun". If ya listen when ya lock her she almost sounds like she is letting out a little whimper rather than a horn beep.... Then when ya start her back up she's saying "Hello hunny, you ready to get busy" she sounds mean and throaty, like shes gonna thro me on my back and take advantage of me.... Ya I love this car. I mean... Ya I love her.

On December 23rd it'll be exactly a year since I bought her. I still look at her the same as the day she was just a order on a piece of paper. LOL yes I still like staring at my baby G.

Yes, so true, bottom line is that I can't believe it cost me only $35K because it certainly drives and looks much more expensive than what infiniti is charging us. This car is simply "Awesome".

She's a beautiful site. I still stare at her a lot and take more pics in different settings. I'm also amazed at how many peeps stare at her too, the odd one giving the thumbs up.

Hehehe, I was like that the first week with the car. Man, I remember at work I'd get out of the building every hour to see how she was doing. Then I couldn't wait to get off work; I'd get in the car and that would make my day.

Hey me too. And when I don't want to be to obvious in public, I'll pretend to be checking out something else, but I'm really checking out my G. I have a 88 custom t-Bird Turbo Coupe that I still stare at. I only drive my G on weekends when the weather is nice. I wipe it down after each trip including brake dust. So I understand the feeling. Enjoy.

I thought I'm the only one that does this, I just stare on my baby for a good 10 min in the garage sometimes, my wife yelling "your dinner is getting cold!" LOL

 

I get self conscious standing there ogling my own car so I only do it for brief periods. If no one were around I'd probably stare at it till I got cross-eyed. The look is absolutely entrancing...
