Led swap

I just got my G less than a month ago i am trying to do an led swap on the car..I have just about finished but i've notice that when i put the led in the clearance strip on the side of the headlights they still have a yellow tint to them. Is there anyway to fix this since the lens for the strip is inside the headlight? Any advice would be appreciated.

You can try a headlight restoration kit. I've got to do that to my car soon. I heard 3M was the best.

A restoration kit won't work cause the clearance strip the op is talking about is inside the headlight

out of curioisity what kind of bulb did you use for the clearance light? (I know the style is 194/168) How bright/how many SMD's were bult into it? I've seen people do this with the typical 4 SMD or less bulbs, but am curious if our clearance strip has enough space for a 9 SMD bulb or a ridiculos 12 SMD bulb. I too have a yellowed strip, however I've often wondered if a bright enough bulb could over compensate for the yellowness.

tons of people have opened their headlights to paint the housing a different color, most people paint in black.

tells you everything you need to know bout opening your headlight, painting the inside if you want.
