SPC rear camber kit and bolt kit.

Was not more than $200-300. Certainly less than 2 tires every year.

H&R installed today...

Finally put on the front springs from H&R. I am waiting to do the rear. I keep reading abut everyones back shock wearing out so I'll keep the OEM sedan sport springs (off an 06 6mt) in there for now. So far I notice a big difference in the ride. Not as harsh as the OEM sport springs. No crazy vibrations either. I have the rear camber kit (SPC) that I will have professionally installed along with the springs (easy I know) and possibly a rear sway bar. Not sure what brand to go with.

For now I am waiting on the rear because of the shocks issue. Kind of limited with the rear only choice. Does the drop look right to you guys. I kind of like the nose down look. We'll see how they settle... MTF

I'm lookin at a BBK myself Just ordered a full Gen2 stillen exhaust and HFC's yesterday. Seddon, lemme know what deals you run into if you are shopping for BBK.

Ernie, were you able to go aftermarket on your brake lines?? I'm told you can't do anything with the X lines, thought that was weird.

rather then aiming for coilovers, how about someone aleast aim for front struts, something stronger, designed for a lowered one.

thats about the only reason holding me back from doing a drop, IF the fronts get blown, its pretty hard to come across front struts, its not like we can go to a store and pick them up as easily as a RWD car. it seems like a dealership only item and then junkyard, part-out, totaled car places.

Will do, but I am probably going with the Wilwwod 6 piston front for now.
I already have the GoodRidge SS Braided lines on my X.

Rear Shocks ?

OK, so I can't get a straight answer from anyone on the right shocks for a lowered X (Rear). After a long phone call with Stillen the guys says the TOKICO's HP Series (Blue Shock) will not work on the X. The guy at tire rack says the Bilstein rear shocks would not work because the car is lowered. Claims that the shocks are designed to fit a OE sedan (RWD). How much lower can a X be with H&Rs. 1 maybe 2 inches at the most??? What have other done? Also, is there a big difference between the coupe/350Z shocks and sedan/awd shock (besides height)? Thanks for the help in advance.

You can use the tokico hp and bilstein, anything the is made for the rwd and 350z rear can be used on our car. I am running 350z koni rear and a 350z hotchiks sway bar. If later you want to have front and rear, go with koni and then when you have enough send your fronts out and get them done.

Really cause my rear is freakin bouncin now like a Olschool cadillac lol

Im about to get rid of my 350z springs and maybe get Htechs or H&Rs or Tanabe. Im looking for about the same drop as 350z springs (1.5inch)

If im still riding like a cadillac, I'll throw in tokico Blues too. theyre really good and known to hold dropped cars nice and firm...

but Fronts are trouble. WAT THE HELL ARE WE GONNA DO? im not payin $1000 to get them redone
