Tps Help

The way I read the owners mabnual, the TPS sensors only send a siganal when the pressure is below the set limit, and speed above 20 mph. Correct?
Is there a way to test the sensors, without lowering the pressure and running down the road? Just ran to work, car felt a little strange, on the way, came out to find the rt rear flat. Never saw the light come on. These are my "new" 350 Z track wheels. Is the Z and G system the same?

The sensors are in the valve stem. Were they transferred to the new wheels? If not, I hope you still have the stems because they are pretty expensive. Good luck.

Did you keep your same sensors? If the new wheels came with different ones in them they need to be programmed to your car.

No the Z track wheels came with the original sensors still in them. I am taking the car in for service this week, so I'll see whats involved, still have to get new tires so I have a little time any way.

I bet that is the problem. You need to have the dealer program the sensors to your car. I'm not sure if they have to take them out or just do some kind of learning routine.

Ok. I will ask while I'm in getting it serviced.
