Are you looking for an apology? I don't think I pin-pointed anyone specifically so my comment remains the same.

For me driving in cold temps (<35F) costs me 4 to 5 mpg.

my cars almost a month old this week and I got about 318 miles on the first tank(dealer supplied). I drove to Connecticut and back to NY. It then went downhill from there. Averaging 15.3 mpg in city driving. I have 1,200 miles on her. And I drive her nice and soft. DOes the X get the worst mileage? thanks

Jason

are we talking about the 2-wheel drive or AWD gas mileage ? coz i'm pretty sure the AWD does worse on mpg ... i have an 05 AWD, get about 300 miles on 17 gallons - which is about 17.5 in city driving ... but i've seen posts where ppl get 400 miles on a full tank too .. wonder if it's just different tuning or the 2WD vs AWD difference

I would do the obvious and lay off the lead footed driving. If that doesn't work then try to hit the other things. My wife can't figure out why I get better mileage on the car than she does. She likes to race up to red lights and take off fast after the light turns red/green. Guess who has to replace the pads and rotors from Lewis Hamilton. Marriage is great!
