I am not saying anything bad about it
But its not really worth the money to get 15 or 20hp on a slightly faster then average car
Now if you are going the FI route its completely worth it
I have a lot of experience with it that is why I havent done it to my car its a waste for me and most people

Until you've gotten tuned and can comment on the difference I don't think you have anything to base that statement on.

edit: just saw that you claim to have a lot of experience with uprev... Care to elaborate? If it really was a "waste for most people" you wouldn't see people lining up to get tuned or posting positive reviews on very forum out there..

I have driven tuned sedans before and after, like I said before for most people it is not worth the money, unless you have $500 to blow and want to get every ounce of power from the average powered car then sure

And I know guys with stock G35's that got tuned and absolutely loved it... Whatever. Lets stop derailing the OP'S thread. go read the "osiris tuned dyno sheets" thread in the tuning forum, there are all kinds of cars posted up with the owners' impressions. $500 or not I have NEVER met a person who thought the tune was a waste of money once they had it done

Hey guys I have a quick question. Do I have to do internals on my vq35de to do a single turbo kit. I want to boost my daily driver and keep it safe. ( lookin to make 350-400whp)
Thank for the input in advance.

With a turbo, I would recommend it. If not, keep it at a very conservative tune.

Check out the FI section: https://g35driver.com/forums/forced-induction-24/

If you are lucky it would be fine, the safer route would be to upgrade during the install, its cheaper then fixing broken parts later on
The worst area to cheap out in is definitely the motor...

Hey, I made my account ago but im just starting to use this more,

I wanted to know if I should get a CAI, a pop charger, or a ztube for my 2003 G35 Sedan?
Also I was thinking about blacking out the top of my G35, would that be a bad / good idea?

I apologize for recreating the same thread, I just dont understand how to use this website that well yet, still catching the hang of it.

WiZ_Sam provided the link you need for these kinds of questions. Please take a lot of time to read through the FI section before you start posting threads or questions about topics that have been covered multiple times. There's a wealth of info over there for the taking, but we're not going to spoon feed our members, you've got to do some work as well.

What you should or shouldn't do is totally up to you. As I said above, one of the responsibilities of new members is to take time to read through the forums and familiarize yourself with the different sub-forums and what info they contain. Your questions have been asked literally thousands of times and there are a million opinions on what are good upgrades. For your first question look here: https://g35driver.com/forums/intake-exhaust-23/ For your 2nd question only you can decide if you like the look or not, we are not psychics and can not read your mind to see what you think would look good.

To both of you welcome to the family and happy reading.

None of them add a noticeable increase in power, but most common is probably ztube w/ jwt popcharger
