Has anyone on here traded out their 5AT for the JDM 8CVT. I heard that they have improved and can handle High horsepower. I am planning on a crate motor swap and thought maybe tranny two? IDK

You have MREV2 without the spacer? Why? If you are getting tuned, get the HFC. Otherwise the HFCs won't be making much more gains than the plenum spacer and you might as well just save for Osiris instead.

It's not going to work like you think it will. The MREV is a non-revup plenum which has been machined to provide flow to all 6 cylinders. Just using a non-revup plenum isn't going to make any gains, and trying to even duplicate the MREV by machining a non-revup plenum is a difficult task that many have tried and failed at.

$500 for a couple horses and 15 lbs of torque throughout the RPMs, the MREV2 is a great bang for the buck. Unless Osiris and a dyno tune has gotten cheaper, this relatively cheap mod is the only one you can undoubtedly feel for under $1000.

But why would you want to install the MREV without the spacer?

because for the RevUp, the MREV alone makes power and the spacer alone does nothing. Together they make the most though. read up on the MD site

Those are some easy bolt ons
Get a z-tube, but skip the Popcharger for a K&N filter panel for the stock box. You'll feel the heatsoak more than any gains you get from the Popcharger in the summertime. Don't get me wrong, the Popcharger does make power but only in ideal conditions which is never when you need it. You can modify the stock box to open it up just a bit more to get a bit more flow. If you have a manual, get the MREV2 for the extra 15 lbs of torque. For the price of a decent exhaust, get Osiris and a tune instead. The tune will be more beneficial than the gains you'll see from any exhaust.

If you want to track your G but want to keep it comfy enough for daily driving, get yourself some swaybars, better struts, and front and rear tie bars. Get yourself some revised Z springs or 350Z Tein springs with some 350Z Tockico D-Specs if you want a bit more handling. The D-Specs are technically the same as the ones for a G, only they give the 350Z model a bit more adjustment which is always nice.

2 hp and a shift in air fuel ratio is minor, but still makes a difference, even if it's only a slight one. Why not just install it while you have everything apart the first time?

Mod Recommendations (I know **** about cars)

Hey everyone New here..., Just wanted to start off by saying thanks to all members for being part of this forum, yall have been great help

I’m Wiping on STOCK 04 Black SEDAN.

Well here are some mods I’m looking Fwd too,

Gialla Mesh Grill (WILL THIS FIT WITH STOCK BUMPER OR NISMO? Ebay has one in stock. But i rather find it somewhere else if possible.)

05-06 Tail Lights (WHOLE SET) DONE.

New LED Headlights. (Has anyone used Halo Headlights from ebay?)

Nismo front Bumper(would i need to replace back bumper and side skirts to fit/look okay with stock body?.)

I need some rims also. What size should they be? Any Suggestions on Brand Rims?

does anyone know the price these things go for? Also would i need any other part to fit what I’m looking for? If anyone is selling i would be more than glad to purchase. i appreciate

That's a pretty vague list since what one person likes another person won't like, you really just need to figure out how YOU want it to look rather than what other people like. As for rims, I think 19's look pretty nice without having to lower your ride. Find a competent shop near you that can give you an idea of what will work on your car without modification.

Just be careful with some of the eBay stuff and only buy items that have a handful of good reviews. The last thing you need to do is drop a few hundy on something and then have something that doesn't fit quite right.

If you really want to enjoy your car, start doing some performance mods and don't worry about how it looks until later.
