Tanabe is not loud...megan or topspeed are supposed to be loud...look above the threads to the stickies and there is a sedan exhaust compilation thread.

I highly doubt you are getting a full exhaust, there is no y pipe included when you buy a tanabe, the y pipes are like $500 alone

Anybody have an opinion on what mods i should add to my 06 silver sedan? I'm looking to spend less than a grand but i want eventually new rims, larger wheels, a new exhaust, stereo, and to lower it like an inch. I know that I'll have to pick and choose to stay on budget, but I'm just looking for some insight, options, or info. Thanks!

Yeah Circle.. Go with a couple bolt ons the n go for a basic tune up then an uprev tune.. also coilovers an front/rear strut bars.. Lowering springs are a waist of money.

I see. Thanks for the input. Will strut bars and coilovers improve my handling? Whats the difference btwn sway bars and strut bars? Also what are bolt ons? Lol. Like a body kit? Or are yo utalking about the exhaust?

Will they???? Hell yeah they will lol.. Plus coil overs will allow you to adjust ride height.. Bolt ons are exhaust, intake, test pipes.. You don't need much since the G is quick from the factory. Strut bars go over the engine an in the trunk. Sway bars go under the car.

After you get all your pipes get an uprev tune to map your engine based on all tour mods an the way you drive.

Alright, looking for exhaust advice. I drive an '04 6MT Sedan. Going for subtle/sleeper. I like the stock pitch and tone G coupes and Zs exhaust note and I'm looking to just make that louder and more aggressive. I don't mind them sounding stock and slightly raspy but I hate the low and raspy exhausts. Right now I have a coupe mid pipe and test pipes. When my buddy comes back, I should be trading him for a VQ35HR Y-pipe. I want to top it off with a different rear section and I'd like some recommendations.

I was hanging out with some local G/Z guys last night and one guy with black HR car had a wicked cool looking single exit exhaust that came out at an angle and sounded really good. I'd like to find that or something like it. Doesn't have to come out at an angle, either.

Thanks for the info and I'm guessing the regular... (headers, intake, exhaust) but maybe the major mod I'm thinking is this greddy turbo pack everyone has been talking about...have you heard anything about it

At this age, consider upgrading shocks and springs if you ever considered upgrading. Sway bars are a great addition.

Consider swapping your suspension bushings to poly or new oem bushings.
