You will see a slight bit more gain from the tune because of the spacer, but the z tube does absolutely nothing but sound more aggressive here.Originally Posted by Gman56

I thought the z-tube flowed more air thus gives you more power?Originally Posted by dofu

Stillen claims about 10hp or so I believe and same for the spacer, which I find hard to believe. I have a stillen intake, plenum spacer, hfc's and stillen exhaust for my 04x. I don't notice much difference in power, although I get a lot of compliments saying it sounds good. A good way to compliment any mods you do is get a tuner for your g. I heard a lot I good things from Osiris. Intake alone basically for soundOriginally Posted by Chucks 04

There is nothing wrong with the g-tube's airflow, the design is just to muffle the intake sound. If there are any gains from swapping it out to a z-tube, it is so minimal that you won't even see it on the dyno.Originally Posted by Chucks 04

Hey my name is Thomas I am new to the forum. I have an 04g sedan 6mt and I am wondering what I could do next for performance. I have a z tube, 5/16 spacer, light weight flywheel, coupe mid for exhaust, ecu tune, lowering springs, rear camber kit, adjustable shocks etc. Specifically I was wondering what would be my best bang for my buck?

What kind of performance do you want? Handling or acceleration? If you want better turning, you might want to look into adjustable sway bars first, lower tie bars after. If you want more acceleration, a higher final drive will help and cams would be a great mod to have. Beyond that, hfcs, test pipe or boost are the next options.Originally Posted by Remick22

It won't make power or make your car turn better, but I would suggest a good short shifter that extends the shifter underneath and shortens it up to as well to really shorten the shifts, paired with a weighted shift **** because it just feels so nice.
