^^

Exactly that. Although the guy is local to me so I had him do the fab work since it's a universal muffler and requires chopping off part of the oem muffler. Sebring has a deeper tone to it and more of a purr. I find the HKS to have more of a "rice" sound, not necessarily ricey, just more rasp and import like. I like my exhaust to sound mean and beefy and growl. Best part of it is, it cost me half the price with fabrication than the cost of the HKS alone.

HKS I paid $400 shipped from a vendor a couple years back. Not sure how much they are now. My Sebring was $125, fabrication was $60.

HKS is really $500? That's plan retarded for an axle back.

Yea I quoted on one shipped to my US address and it was like $480 or somewhere around there.

Way too much for a muffler. HKS' name has just been imprinted in the brain of every person getting into the Japanese car scene.

Indeed. The dumb thing is the people who pay so much for something jack the prices until it's stupid and no longer an option. Reminds me of crap I see on eBay all the time.
Not long ago I was looking for a Nikon "kit" lens, the cheapo lens that comes bundled with a DSLR when you buy the body and lens together.
Because they're just a dinky little lens, you can buy them brand new for $110 shipped (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc..._6G_ED_II.html)
I wanted one to experiment on, and figured I might be able to pick one up used on eBay for $60-75 because a lot of people move on to better lenses and end up selling the lens they got bundled, so the market is flooded with these.
Yet somehow, the auctions for them end up with retards bidding them up to $90-100!

Morons! For $10 more dollars, don't buy a year old lens, buy it brand new!

But people are stupid and all to often love to waste money. What can you do

^ thats an offset inlet, meaning any shop can install a flange and a pipe so its 100% stock so yo can just swap the axle back.

People are willing to pay $100+ for an HR Y-Pipe due to the larger diameter of aftermarket y-pipes which could introduce rasp into your exhaust note depending on the size piping (and resonators or lack thereof) in the rest of your exhaust setup. Its the best Y-pipe to be paired with a Coupe middy or OEM Sedan middy with gains throughout the powerband, where the aftermarket y pipes lose a tiny bit down low and has equal gains up top.
