I found that after I did it to mine, lol. Here's my thread, Sanding the gauge face starts @ POST #34

DVG, I actually have the original KM/H gauge face, already sanded down ready to go, if you want to change the colour of your gauges.

I kind of want to change everything to a white and red theme.

How is the 03/04? Can I just swap out LEDs / put in LED bulb replacements for everything?

Im somewhat interested in taking that gauge face off your hands, you're working on getting a custom one built right?

^I accidentally wrote 05/06 before, not sure how I got both numbers wrong...

Also, it looks like that part Im talking about is the one still-amber part in the interior, is there a way to do it?

My worries are:

The total km display

The climate control display

The radio

I dont care if red or white, but I need to be able to change those if Im going to start this project

Guys, 2 question. Have a 05 sedan.

Have to replace wipers. Which brand do you recommend? Bosch is good? Any DIY to install it?

Also the PS fluid is going black so may need to be replaced soon, was wondering if there is a DIY. found one for 2007 and up G35 but not for 2005. Will it be same?

thanks

Bosch are decent, its pretty simple to install, they should come with instructions.

Yes, 05/06 and 03/04 are different. The 05/06 uses 2 bulbs, the 03/04 only has one.

I will post what I did to my 03/04 later, doing a big picture-purge right now.

In already have my custom one installed and pretty much done. The old one is just in my basement packaged up neatly not doing anything.

The LED job is not a simple tit-for-tat job, no. The 03/04 uses all incandecent lighting, to put LED's in you need to install it all yourself from scratch. Look through that thread I linked, see the ribbon-strip lighting I chose to use? That's the best option you have, get it in whatever colour you want.

I'd recommend white ribbon strip around the outside where the numbers are, then custom-mount some 3mm RED LED's under the needles.

As for the rest of the lighting in the car, I'm warning you now, it's a big job. But I'll help your questions. I haven't done the Radio unit yet, but I just finished the LCD screen.

Yes but you need the new lugs to go with those wheels, if im not mistaken, the newer wheels have different lugs fron your factory ones.
