IMO, that doesn't look like previous body work, that sounds like a crappy excuse the shop that rolled used.
That looks like getting too aggressive with the roller (trying to go way too fast) without warming the paint to allow it to stretch.
But I'm VERY far from experienced/expert with this. How does the inner poriton of the fender look, does it look like it had bondo work?

1/2 motorydyne iso thermal plenum spacer
This is my first post so bare with me, I have an automatic 2005 g35x and I have searched everywhere but apparently I'm the only one who found a problem, when I try and buy one in the description it says hood will need to be modified in order for it to fit correctly is this true or will it fit proper? I dont want to buy it then find out I need to buy a whole different hood for my car, I'm alright if it barely touches the hood. Also, I'm only 17 and my car knowledge isn't exactly the highest, would I be able to install it myself? Would it be better to do myself or just save the trouble and bring It to a mechanic?

Unless the engine in an X sets higher then in the coupe there should not be any issues with the hood, I'd wait for others to verify though. As for installation, it isn't difficult at all just remember to put everything back where it came from. Be sure to disconnect the battery before touching the throttle body and don't over torque any bolts. There's DIY's on youtube regarding installation and shouldn't take more then an hour.

This is the one I will be buying in case I misread, or if anyone wants to recommend something better. Thank you for the feedback

The only thing that needs to be modified with the 1/2" Spacer is the engine cover, because the threads that hold it are not long enough once you install the spacer.
You can choose to simply leave the plastic cover off, or you can get a 5/16" spacer.

Or just go to Nissan/Infiniti and buy some, more expensive though.
There's no reason to leave it off, really. It won't HURT anything to leave it off, but it does decrease the efficancy of the intake.
