i havent read through all 12 pages so im not sure if this has been covered but my coupe does this too. randomly will work or not work.

Hey guys, i had this same problem on my coupe. I tested the diode and and i couldnt get anything, so i soldered a new one on parallel. I plugged it in and voila it worked. Then i installed it and it quit again. So i replaced the connector and its now working completely. I have had no problems whatsoever from it. You can get a simple two pronged plug from radioshack for like three bucks. Let me know if this helped anybody.
