Before the iTunes store Apple had the slogan "Rip, Mix & Burn" which was not well received. At least now they promote legal downloading.

I'm sure of it.
They supposedly use the port to update the navi, so it's not an OS limitation issue.
It's just not cfg'd in the firmware.

Now we're talking. Hopefully Infiniti (or someone else ) will have figured this out before I buy mine this Spring!

Yeah, maybe there will be some sort of hack, or secret access menu to allow this. Pretty dumb restriction, but I'm sure they caved into pressure from RIAA, etc, to avoid any copyright issues. Which is sad, because why should they restrict what I want to do with music in MY car.
