very useful for 7A and pretty useful for 5AT
if you shift to DS and want to switch to manual mode without switching gears while driving just press both paddles together - it will change to manual mode, display what gear you're in, and wont actually switch gears.

Where the heck is this button at? I have looked and cant find it. I was assuming it would be on the side nearest the steering wheel like it was in my altima but I couldnt find it.

No, we don't get one. It's not the dealers decision.

You can get a battery for like 6 bucks. I don't think that's a scam. You can buy it anywhere not just at the dealer. LOL

Infiniti did set it too ssensitive. Probably because some people would panic what to do when the fob dies.

You can get a battery for less than $10 anywhere. I don't think that's a scam. Infiniti set it sensitive since they were one of the first one to offer this on an averabecar and were not sure if people would know what to do when it dies. So I think. Hack lots of people don't know lot about their own car (not reading the manual). Like the first aid kit. LOL

From what I read, it sounds like the battery has to be changed on average once a year? I am new to the car but needed to change it last week. Will see how long it lasts.

In Canada, the cheapest I found for th CR2032 battery for the key is $1.25 at MEC. Yup, MEC. It was Energizer too.

Yeah, do a search for the battery replacement. It is VERY easy and the batteries are available at Walmart, CVS, etc.

VERY simple to replace. I'd rather have the early warning than a late one
