my fob battery has been low for over a year, still going strong haha

the US first aid package is in the trunk if thrown in by the dealer

to put the car in manual mode, you dont need to pull BOTH paddles, just one of them, and then put ur car in DS mode

- for those with Navi.. Found out last night if you hold down the ENTER button on the steering wheel for a few seconds the LCD screen auto switches to nav mode from whatever screen it's on.

on sweltering 100+F days with A/C blowing hard in auto mode the fan speed slows when you press the voice control button and then resumes hi speed when you're done

This Thread Has Become a Good Source for Great Tips. My Dealership wanted me to go back so they can show me all the Features because when they delivered my Car it was almost Closing time. I guess I can go there and teach them a Tip or two.

Thanks Everyone and Keep them Coming.

I've downloaded the PDF version from Infiniti's web site but I'm old school, I find it easier to read hardcopy. I've requested a replacement set of manuals from Infiniti unfortunately the manual for the Nav system is not included with those and it looks like I'll have to buy one from Infiniti but that's ok, the other free manuals is a nice service from Infiniti.

Thanks again for these tips.
Probably a bit late to help you out, but you can get the navigation (and all other manuals) in PDF form straight off the Infiniti website... I did some searching after I read your post.

Just found out that you can use the Ipod connector with your Iphone. I have the Pandora app on my iphone and can play it through my car speakers using the Ipod connection..

Fairly good sound too

Im new!!!! first post

I just traded my 04 for an 08. I actually found my nav on craigslist in san antonio about a year ago. I live in houston though.

Im curious about this hiding spot behind the glove box. Ive reached my hand back there and dont feel any room. Do you have to unhinge the glove box?

silence the lock horn.

To silence the sound the car makes when you lock it, you can hold the lock and unlock button for about 3 seconds and the car will blink. silence.
