G35 tips you probably don't know :D
No offense, but that is why you need to carry. You just never know. It's not like the old west or is it about being a vigilante, it's about being prepared. In "every" state that passed CC permit laws, violent crimes have gone way down, even in this economic disaster.
Just remember, when seconds count, the police are only minutes away
Here is an excerpt form a great article:
I am a member of the most law-abiding group of U.S. citizens in the history of our country. I have a concealed carry permit. This means I have never behaved badly enough to get convicted of a felony. I have never acted bizarre enough to be diagnosed with a dangerous mental illness.
The United States government could find no reason why I should not have the choice to carry a gun. I am one of the good guys. And the record proves it.
I recognize that as a citizen I have certain responsibilities; my own protection and that of my family. I love living in a country where the police do a fine job of enforcing the law. We have a government that protects its citizens rather than shoots them. While the risk of a violent encounter between an innocent victim and a thug is low, it still happens. If it does, I also recognize that when seconds count, the police are minutes away. There is an abundant record of armed citizens exercising their rights to defend themselves (with the best technology they can afford) against a violent assailant long before any police could arrive to protect them. This happens daily...

Interestingly, when i was still 7 or so, my dad would leave me with a few from his collection (A 45(!, for a 7 y.o.!), a 9mm Beretta and a 22 rifle) and just let me at it at his private shooting range. The Uzi was the only thing he wouldn't let me touch, rightfully so. My fave was the rifle.
Used to love 'em, but started disliking guns in general as i grew older.

Yep, to each his own
so lets get back on topic. The rear styrofoam is too thin to really do anything with, so I scrapped that idea. I do want to get one of those water proof mats for my trunk. I do wish the trunk was a bit bigger though.
Anybody else notice how close cars look in your rearview mirror when they first got the car. I was getting a little miffed at first as I thought people were right on my azz at the stop light.

I am waiting on a few more tanks to post an updated report with the 18s i've had on for a few months now, but it looks somewhat promising with a consistent 22+ mpg average. The interesting part is that these 18s are slightly heavier than the NISMO 19s in the post above. My guess is the weight is concentrated towards the hub.

Tip for you oil change DIYers, My 07 g35x had a flap under the oil filter with only 3 screws. No need to tak off the whole plastic undercover
The oil plug was already exposed. Very simple oil change. I used Mobile 1 "synthetic" with napa gold filter. Autozone has $10 off coupon for mobile 1. Meijers has the 5.124 jug for $25 a few dollars cheaper if you have a meijers.

Sidenote: Anybody suprised at the size of the filter.

The car hasn't changed a whole lot in 5+ years so there's not really anything new and uncovered. Most of the tips are at the beginning of the thread and many have been repeated by new comers throughout.
ive read it is impossible to lock keys n ur trunk but i hate to say i had my trunk open and my keys sitting there and the wind blew my trunk shut.. sure enough my keys fob and all were locked in my truck.. had to use an airbag to open window enough to hit unlock button and the trunk wouldnt open cuz alarm was goin off so had to pull back seat down..

I have tested it on my 07 sedan and my 2011 G37S 6MT and I can't lock the key in the trunk while the car doors are locked. It pops right open every time. I even have a crappy video I made
