One other component to consider, the stock shifter is actually really decent but the B&M short throw shifter is even better, little shorter throw but not too extreme and it feels a lot better overall.

Granted I have a CD00A transmission in my 2006 which is a notoriously notchy transmission to begin with so it makes a pretty massive difference on that platform. You have the JK41B transmission which has a MUCH smoother feel to it but the shorter throw between gears just feels better.

This can always be installed later since it doesn't require removal of any other components besides the shifter and console boot. You wouldn't be saving labor money by getting it done at the same time as the clutch.

Is the G35 clutch adjustable? The distance between fully depressed and when the clutch starts to engage is too far apart for my liking. If the clutch is not adjustable, is there something that can be installed to shorten the distance?

I'm not familiar with the clutch pedal on that year, my 2006 has a small amount of adjustment by playing with the distance of the clevis pin at the top of the pedal.

There is an adjustable RJM pedal for my year of coupe, I THINK your car uses the same pedal as the 370Z/G37 but I'm not totally sure. If so then you should definitely check it out, amazing pedal.

Check with RJMPerformance.com they're a little spendy, I think it was right around $300 but it's a fully adjustable pedal and much better than the older style OEM one that was used on my year. If your car does use the G37/370Z pedal it's an improvement but still nothing compared to some cars, aftermarket adjustable pedals are definitely the best though.
