Not me either. Not sure if you are talking about stock or aftermarket exhaust, but I'm stock except for the y-pipe.

DIY on INSTALL DIY DIY DIY lets see one get made. I have no clue how to install one. Anyone wanna write up a DIY on how to install this. Sorry im a NEWB

It literally bolts right on. You just need to unbolt the stock pipe and swap in the new one. You will need 3 new gaskets (2 for the downpipes from the cats and one for the outlet pipe to the midpipe. You should also replace the nuts and bolts.

You'll probably run into issues with the stock nuts and bolts being rusty. Spray a ton of PB Blaster or something similar on them and let them sit for a while. You can also use a torch or just take it to a local mechanic and have them cut off.

i put my hr y pipe on when i was at 62k miles. I resused stock gaskets and bolts.

You may be able to reuse, but it's always good to change these things when something gets replaced. And if you're already swapping the pipe then why not?

Right....at 29K miles, my gaskets did not need replacing. I think each case is subjective to the actual condition of the exhaust/gaskets themselves.....

The y-pipe gaskets totally reuseable. My car has 71K miles and I never replaced the OEM metal gaskets. My 96 Maxima had the same gaskets, had lots of various exhaust setups, and I never had to replace those either.

I agree with this. I reused mine and would again.

Although the Y pipe is under the car, it is fairly accessible. Nothing catashropic would happen if they did end up leaking - you'd just have to crawl back under the car, take 2 bolts out and replace it. It's not like you'd have to dissasemble the engine to get to them.

I bought new gaskets to use when I swapped out my pipe, and ended up not using them and getting my money back. The old ones were 3-4 copper plates (?) and the new ones were paper. I like the quality of the stock ones a lot better. The new ones were cheap though, $9 for all 3.

Well, still looking for a HR y-pipe and I've found a number of people selling the whole 350Z HR exhaust setup but...
I am curious if anyone knows if the muffler on the 07-08 HR 350Zs is the same as the one that is on the 06-07 (revup) 6mt G coupes?
I don't expect any performance increase but maybe a beefier exhaust note could be attained.
