Just in for small celebration. Just bought an 07 HR Pipe for 100 shipped. Will update on results when I get it installed.

Basically this threads concludes that all 03-09 G35/7 Coupe & Sedan / 350z share identical Y-pipes. "Fitment wise"... They are all interchangeable...

This should be the same with aftermarket Y-Pipes as well....

All Y Pipes except for a 2004 Infiniti G35X have identical fitment.

I had an Infiniti tech verify that a 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe's Y-Pipe and a 2007+ Infiniti G35 Sedan's Y-Pipe are fully interchangeable.

yes and no...the G35X has some fitment issues with cetain styles due to the transfer case. RWD models should all be interchangeable though, including most if not all aftermarket Y pipes.

^ yet i dont think we narrowed it down exactly to which year X can run them and not. I know we figured a lot out in the XYZ pipe thread. One 04x can run it and another couldn't.

Just picked up a 08 350z HR Y pipe. The original owner of my car was from up north. Therefore my bolts are all rusted to crapp.

Besides the dealer, what other place can I pick up new bolts. Anyone know the specs of them, size, threading?

Thanks!

just use some wd-40 brush off the rust and reuse them or a local hardware store

I've got an 04G35x.. I've had the HR pipe on for over a year now.. no problems with fitment for my model year.. (Feb04).

i read through the first 20 pages and didnt really find an answer to my question...

will the HR y-pipe have the same benefits on my '06 coupe 5AT?

the only other intake/exhaust mods i have in my car are a z-tube, the revup airbox and a K&N filter....and i have a 5/16 spacer that im waiting for warmer weather to throw on.

Yes it will. And I must say you have more patience than I do, I'd have that spacer on now. You really will be happy with what it adds to your car.

ha!....yea, for starters i dont have a inch/lb wrench (i know i know theyre only a few $$ at an auto parts store, but im just too lazy), and i also would like some help on this install since i havent done anything like this before, and its too cold out right now....lol

i figure if im going to get some help with the spacer install, might as well use the help on the y-pipe install too...and maybe the HFC's if i have those before i decide to throw all of this on.

will i need to reset my ECU after the y-pipe and spacer install?
