Same gasket. Depending on your mileage and condition of your exhaust when you remove your old pipe, you maybe able to reuse the stock gaskets.

We reused mine when my HR-Y pipe was installed last year. I had about 28K miles or so back then and had 0 leaks.

The setup sounds great with the rest of the DE stock exhaust and if you add HFCs the music gets a little better

Thanks guys. Nissan dealer is nearby, so that makes it easy. My exhaust is still solid, but has 110K on it, so gaskets are probably worth it for me.

just had my '08 350z HR y-pipe installed by my dealer. already had the car in for an oil change and a few other things and the y-pipe was sitting in my back seat from just picking it up at the post office, so i figured id just have the dealer install it. $120 for the install...not too bad.

^ Hour of labor. Guess thats not too bad, but it doesn't seem to hard to install that part after I had a club member do it.

yea i figured with the cold weather around here, and the lack of tools on my part, the easiest thing to do would have the dealer install it unless i wanted to wait until summer.

Or do I have to get these:

Can anyone clarify which gaskets to get? I just called the Nissan dealership and they want $45 for the set! Seems a bit high and wanted to see if I could get them from somewhere else. Anyone have any suggestions?

^^ How many in a "set"? They may be selling a set that will do all your exhaust joints. The ones in the link look okay to me. When I did my Stillen last year I bought a sheet of steel-core gasket material and cut my own (only because I couldn't get hold of any on a weekend, LOL!)

Thanks for the quick reply! It was basically $15 for each gasket. In the link, I'm confused as to which ones I would need to get. Can you confirm that it would be one of these (for the two front inlets)...

and one of these (for the y-pipe outlet)...

Thanks for your help!

So you're the one that outbid me... My computer froze up right when I went to outbid you with 6 seconds left. That was a bad way to start out my day. Kinda funny how I found this, but have you installed it yet? Do you have a coupe or a sedan? Impressions? Mine comes in Thursday.
