350Z HR Y-pipe installed on a 2003 G35

As far as $100 being your limit, that's all well and good if you can find one. It took me a couple of months to even find one that hadn't been instantly snapped up, and the 350Z guys have awoken to their (relative) value to G35 owners, which has pushed the market price on the 350z boards up a bit.
Another good place to look is Craigslist, both in your city and elsewhere. I actually found the one I bought on the Hawaii Craigslist site.

Sarcasm was my intent.

Personally, I got mine for free when a guy I know put a full exhaust on his '08 Nismo Z.

OK, tried to install it last night, but I can't get the damn nuts loose on the original y-pipe. I soaked 'em in PB Blaster for a 1/2 hour at least and they still won't budge, and it's really hard to get leverage to break them free. Any other tips on getting those !@#$%& nuts loose?

Local mechanic installed it for $50. Haven't been able to drive it around much or wind it up yet, but my initial impression is that it is a bit "smoother" from throttle tip-in. In other words, it seems easier to feather in the clutch in and take off from a start than it was before. It also seems a bit freer-revving than before, at least up to 3K RPM. I believe the sound is pretty much the same as before, perhaps slightly more prevalent (certainly no droning), but nothing major. I will comment again in a couple of days when I've had a chance to open it up a bit.

Nope. Fit just like the original '04 pipe with no problems. The nuts were a bit rusted on and needed more soaking and an impact gun. I tried soaking them but couldn't get them to budge and couldn't get enough leverage under the car to break them free. Looks like it was originally part of the car.
