I've seen some pictures of the FX y-pipe and it does look just like the HR y-pipe. I'd say go for it.

So I found a Y-Pipe off an fx35 on craigslist, it looks just like the HR 350z Y-Pipe, is it worth getting?

With all this y-pipe talk. I'm wondering which y-pipes that are on any HR motor will not fit? That will make searching for one a lot easier for me lol

And will the Y off a vq37 motor fit?

does the FX35 Y-pipe offer the same benefits that the 350 HR y-pipe does?

The Y-Pipe from a G37 will fit but it won't offer the power gains described in this thread. You need the Y-Pipe from a 350z HR. The inlet/outlet of the G37 Y-Pipe is smaller than that of the 350z HR Y-Pipe.

As far as the Fx35 Y-Pipe I'm not sure if it gives the same power. I know that it looks nearly identical with the exception of the "hockey pucks".

Just installed mine today. Definitely a change in exhaust note. Its a more deeper tone now. As far as power goes, its peppier but not earth shattering.

From my understanding and my Y-pipes.
HR Y pipe, rev-up, Fx...etc...

If it fits a 350z or Fx or g37, sedan; it fits the G35 coupe

I installed the 350z HR Y-Pipe. When I installed it last night I didnt really notice a big difference, but this morning it was most evident.

So I can get a 2008 350Z Y pipe, mid pipe and muffler with really low miles. Can I swap everything on to my 2003 Sedan? Thanks
