Type in G35 interior light on ebay, and you can find the size and model number.

^ you need a flathead screwdriver to carefully pry out the clock console

They were a direct replacement for the bulbs, no problems at all.. took like 10 minutes.. most of that time was trying to get the bezel off without trashing anything!!? (pull straight back.. NOT UP!!!)

The leds provide AT LEAST 2x the light that the OEM bulbs did.. fo sho!

I'll post pics later today...

two.. one on each side of the clock... they go in with a 1/4 turn.. if it doesn't light, remove, rotate 180 deg. and should be ok!

Hey anyone know what the bulb types are for the climate control/ compass lights? Everyone keeps saying they changed the clock but i think it would look weird without all the lights being same color.

There isn't a "bulb type"
It's a VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display)

It's natural color is a pale blue. There is a dark orange filter in front of it to give it a tint that matches the dash.
To change it's color, you have to come up with a new way to filter the light.
I'm working on a red one right now.

You won't be able to "scrape off" the yellow. It's embedded into the plastic.
Also, if you do remove it, it's not white, it's pale blue.
